Who are you?

My 5-year-old son, who has informed me will be known from here on out as 'Daredevil', approached me this morning and said, "Mom, Can we go to the park?"

"Sure. Go get your shoes on."

"Right Now?"

"Yeah. We can go now."

"Who. Are. You?!?"

"Haha. What do you mean? I'm your Mom."

"No, Your not my Mom right now because you said we can go NOW."

Hmm... Apparently, Mom says 'not right now' and 'maybe later' a little too often. Guess I'm going to have to work on that!

Welcome

... to my blog!

I've been blogging for a while now, but have recently been forced to move my personal content elsewhere. It's rather unfortunate and is a long, drama-filled story which recently resulted in content being stolen off my blog.

I had originally planned on going private (and I may still do so with this blog), but I'm not sure that's the direction I want to take.

Until I figure that out, I will be here. If you know me through my other blogs, I'd appreciate if you didn't link to this blog. At least not at the moment, I don't want a trail.

In the end, this may be a good move! I can write about what I really think about issues and life without worrying about upsetting anyone. I can be 'real' with myself and who I really am, because I swear I have multiple identities.

I came across a quote recently that said, "Ok... So my Halo slips not and again. Get over it." It fits. It fits with who I am at this point in my life and how I feel about life in general. I've made mistakes, but I like to think of them as 'experiences' rather than mistakes. I'm not perfect. Far from it.
